EXCELLENTVerified The Best Driver/Guide in Sri Lanka I booked 4 days travelling around the cultural triangle visiting Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Safari experience and many other things that were suggested by Ruwan.I was met at the airport where Ruwan assisted me in getting a sim card for my phone and finding an ATM for local currency.Ruwan then proceeded to provide an excellent service throughout my visit by ensuring that he accommodated my journey plan and also making some very appreciated recommendations to some stops I may not have visited otherwise.One of these was a village experience which, as well as an ox and cart ride, a tractor ride and a boat trip, included a Sri Lankan cooking experience which was one of the highlights of the trip.Ruwan accompanied me on some of my visits such as the visit to the Tooth Temple in Kandy. This location is quite spread out and Ruwan's assistance ensured I did not waste time by getting lost.Ruwan was always patient, polite, accommodating, punctual and helpful. His driving was perfectly safe and his car was in very good and tidy condition.If you visit Sri Lanka and are in need of a driver or guide then Ruwan is the man you need. I must say that we were more than satisfied. Ruwan is a very kind person who will help you with everything, give you advice, and take good care of you. During the trip, he showed us many beautiful places and arranged lots of excursions that we wanted to do. Before the trip, I injured my leg and was limited in my ability to walk. Ruwan always arranged the shortest route to our destination and helped me with everything. He even accompanied my friend to see the sunrise at Pidurangalu so she wouldn't have to go alone. It was one of the best travel decisions we made!From the start, Ruwan was incredibly helpful in planning the route, suggesting great places to stop, visit, and stay. What stood out was that his suggestions were always honest — not the typical “I know a place” with hidden commissions. Chintaka was the best driver we could have imagined for our tour from Matara via Adam‘s Peak to Colombo airport.His car was clean, comfortable and a lot of space for my girlfriend and me.He drove with a good speed (a lot of cars go really slow in Sri Lanka), but with Chintaka you will be there on time yet also always safe. Chintaka himself is such a nice person, he genuinely cared about us, and made sure we got the most out of this trip, giving us recommendations on what to look at, when to leave to hike up to Adam‘s Peak and showing us some nice spots around Colombo.Overall, this trip was 5/5, would do again and highly recommend Chintaka as a driver.
